REQUEST STATUS
NO. simple reason is that there's too much to do on my part. I have a healthy commission list already, busy with fam, job hunting, also shifting more time weight towards producing comics. So the short answer is "no, I won't be doing requests." If you want to push your luck you can SUGGEST things during my livestreams, but I'm a bit reluctant to say that since I'd undoubtedly get a "draw my idea" me saying "no" because it doesn't interest me at the moment, then that person getting offended. So the short answer is simply - no. nothing for free at this point.
WHAT IS YOUR COMMISSION STATUS?
Always accepting, but asking that you be mindful of the current client list and realistic about your expectations of when you'll get the pic (hint: it'll be a bit). If you catch me during my streams (usually around midnight MST) you can get instant commissions by paying me upfront +20% (makes it $6 for a sketch comm). But that's the only exception I make.
MY THAT'S A LARGE LIST D8
it is, that's why I'm using the following workflow pattern. Every night that I stream (sometimes I don't due to exhaustion, vacation, or something big the next day) I work on kicking out one client's commissions as much as I can, taking breaks for instant commissions. The next night I move on to the next one down the list and so forth. Every night, I'll either post finished comms, or e-mail progress updates to the various clients.
WHAT'S YOUR WORK PROCESS? a) for quick commissions and chibis it's one shot and it's done. Given the cheap price I ask that you have all of your details ready upfront. Post work corrections are a bit more rare. b) for all other bigger commissions it's a bit more lengthy. I'll explain that in detail - I'll kick out a rough before I start inking, I REQUEST that you look it over and check for errors. This is your principle chance to do so. ] -I may send additional progress updates (refer to the comm list detail), but largely post work corretions won't happen. c) Payment is very much preferred upfront, and for larger commissions I won't post/share the finished product until payment is recieved.
WHAT ARE YOUR LIMITS?
I honestly don't like this question since it automatically implies that the person asking is looking to make me go outside my comfort zone. But I've been requested to post an answer to this question so here it is.
First off - no nudity or implied sex.
Beyond that it's hard to say what is and isn't "ok" for me to draw. Thing is most of it is situational and I tend to give more leniency to stuff that's humorous/doesn't-take-itself-seriously. IF you're going to ask for something that could be considered fetishy or unusual, just send me a note. If it's out of my comfort zone I'll do my best to give you a diplomatic no (at which point it'd be your responsibility to respect my space on the issue). I will say, however, that I am relatively on the rather tame side of things when it comes to what I will/won't draw, so don't get too anxious for an answer yes.
SLIGHT CHANGE OF POLICY I will allow for fan art commissions ... HOWEVER ... there are some limitations - absolutely no nudity - no fetish work (minimal wiggle room, but don't be expecting a yes) - single images only (I won't do an image series with the character) - the image is strictly for personal use only (noncommercial)
HOW CAN I BUY YOUR STUFF CHEAPER?
Buy me crap on Steam! My handle there is " thinkbomb ". Just look at my wishlist, if you see it buy it and gift it to me. You'll get credit for the full price of the title (so if you buy a game 50% off, you get that much more credit). If you see a daily deal or a sale elsewhere in the store, ask me if I want the title. If I do I'll say yes and you can score more credit. yay. In the future this deal will also be available via Amazon, but I gotta set up a PO Box first for receiving the goods.
COLLABS / ART TRADES
generally no. If you want to suggest one I may CONSIDER it, but given time constraints I'll likely say no.
WAIT, YOU'RE PRODUCING COMICS?
Yes, I'm shifting gears to get that going (got a few projects in mind). If you're interested in helping out (writer, artist, inker, colorist, top-to-bottom) let me know. However, please have either have a portfolio or hand pick some of your on relevant pictures to showcase to me (i.e. if you're a penciler, have at least 1 comic page handy). These will be paid gigs (terms negotiated). Below are some of the projects I'm specifically looking for help with: RICK BLASTARR - Inker - Colorist/Toner
and some projects I'll be producing once I get Rick Blastarr's comic in motion NEWS TEAM! - Penciler - Inker ULRATH (the fantasy world) - writer/editor - Penciler - Inker
Again, be professional about asking to help out with the comics. |
